Well, I have a ventrilo server setup, I would like to use it to be able to talk to people I'm ATing with, but I'm not sure if I have my firewall set up correctly to let people connect to it. If you don't have it yet, go download it (http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php). The IP for the server is 67.166.78.58, try and connect, then tell me how it goes.

It worked, make sure to use port 3784...could you make me channel admin so i canmake a private channel so i can chat with my friends ^_^

is this going to be a 24/7 thing or are you just gonna put up the server whenever you need to use it?

I won't be able to have it up 24/7 because ever since my Dad got all those viruses, he has become paranoid and turns the modem off sometimes. But feel free to use it if it is up which should be most of the time at least. If at any time my connection becomes laggy, I may change my mind about this however. I'll send you a PM w/ the admin PW, please don't abuse it.

You probably tried to connect while the modem was turned off. It's back on and the server should work now.

i download and redownload version 2.2 but it only says i have 2.1 when i try and connect to ur server?

Hmm.... I don't know what's wrong. Try uninstalling it, redownloading then reinstalling it.

Here's the file. You'll need to rename it, I had to change it so I could upload it. just change the .w3g to .exe.

Asking me to put the server up on the forums isn't going to get it up. If I am able to read the message, then the server should be up. However, I can't guarantee any uptime, though it should be up more than it has in the past few days.

chrono servers cost like 60$ per month i think. i was thinking we could just leech off another clan where the server is dedicated. i can ask my friend he knows some cod clans

I've changed my mind about it not lagging me. If there are more than 3-4 people on it, my bandwidth just isn't enough to keep up with it :(

I've changed the codec that it uses to compress the audio, that should help w/ the lag.
